Fluer East is working on an “uptempo” album with Wayne Hector.
“I’ve already started writing and recording so I’ve been in with Wayne Hector, I’ve been in with Jack Splash and then straight after the X Factor tour I’m going to be recording with TMS and Invisible Men,” said East.
“I want it to be urban-inspired but I want to salute the old school as well so I want it to be really uptempo, uplifting.”
After she performed Mark Ronson’s uptown funk on the X factor, the song went forced Ronson to release the track early resulting in a huge number 1 hit. Speaking to Heat Radio at the Brit Awards earlier this East said Mark had stopped to tell her he ‘owed her a drink’
Fleur’s debut album is expected later this year through Simon Cowell’s label Syco.
