String of UK celebs to appear in SpongeBob movie

Who knew being a seagull would be so exciting?

YouTubers Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee, Comedian Alan Carr and Singer Stacey Solomon have taken part in one of the biggest cartoons around to play the seagulls in the new Spongebob Squarepants movie!

Featuring alongside actor Antonio Banderas in being his side-kick seagulls, the stars got the opportunity to get into the mind of a seagull.
Joe Sugg, also known as ThatcherJoe on YouTube tweeted his excitement about the new project and how happy he was to be offered this chance and that it was all down to his viewers.

As well as expressing his excitement, Joe also went on to tweet that the best thing about taking part in the project was being part of a movie with his best friend and fellow YouTuber Caspar Lee.

As well as being the voices of the seagulls, they even had a go at singing the iconic theme song of Spongebob Squarepants for the film!

The new 3D animated movie ‘The Spongebob Squarepants Movie: Sponge out of water’ is out in UK cinemas on Friday 27th March.
