Katy Perry to play superbowl

on

Good news Katy Perry Fans, Katy Perry has been confirmed to play the Superbowl half time show next year!

The Superbowl is the most watched event of the year and not just for the game but for the musical element of it too and this year the ‘Roar’ singer will follow in the footsteps of global superstars in performing a show to remember. With around 115 millions viewers per year, no pressure for our favourite kitty cat!

Stars such as Bruno Mars, Madonna and Beyoncé haven taken to the stage previous years. The big announcement of Katy’s upcoming performance was aired during the half time of the Cowboys-Giants game last Sunday. The announcement was accompanied by a video of Katy Perry already testing out ideas for the show next February.

Potential ideas for the show included unicorns, giant sharks breathing fire, kittens and lots and lots of glitter, we can’t wait. Katy’s performance will be the NFL’s fourth consecutive show to include younger pop acts. No big deal! As we all know Katy Perry is no stranger to putting on a amazing show, with lots of props and very colourful sets, so this should be a breeze in the park for the singer. One thing is for sure, we can’t wait to see what Katy has in store for us and no doubt the show will be incredible!

Lets just hope she has some very colourful and over the top outfits planned for the show.
